Rove Miles and New Opportunities for Traveling to Europe
Rove Miles has just unveiled four new partners that enhance the options for users looking to convert their reward points. As of April 7, Rove officially announced Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red as their latest transfer partners, alongside the recent addition of Scandinavian Airlines EuroBonus and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank.
This means Rove members can transfer their Rove points to all four programs at a 1:1 ratio. Notably, Rove is celebrating one of the new partners with a promotional offer of an extra 20% points when converting to SAS until April 8.
Exciting New Redemption Options with Rove Miles
There are plenty of reasons for Rove members to be thrilled about the new transfer partners. The Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is renowned for its competitive award pricing, with transatlantic flights available for as low as 6,000 points each way. Additionally, you can use your points to book hotels and other travel services through Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
On the other hand, Virgin Red allows users to redeem points for experiences such as cruises, tours, movie tickets, and more, although the value for non-travel-related experiences may not be as high.
“With Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Virgin Red, our members will have the chance to access some of the most enticing and dream-worthy rewards in the world,” said Max Morganroth, CEO and co-founder of Rove.
Valuable Rewards from SAS and Japan Airlines
SAS has recently become an official member of the SkyTeam alliance after leaving Star Alliance in 2024. This change allows you to use EuroBonus points for flights on partner airlines within SkyTeam, such as Delta Air Lines, Air France, and Virgin Atlantic.

Japan Airlines points can be quite challenging to earn since the Mileage Bank program has limited transfer partners. Currently, Bilt Points is the only credit card that converts to JAL at a 1:1 ratio, while Capital One offers a less attractive rate of 2:1.5.
The ability to transfer Rove miles at a 1:1 ratio provides travelers with a fresh way to leverage the best rewards from Japan Airlines, such as the new first-class A350 suite from the U.S. to Japan, available for just 70,000 miles each way.
What is Rove Miles?
Launched in 2025, Rove Miles is a new loyalty program that allows members to accumulate and redeem miles for flights and hotel stays without needing a travel credit card. Members can also earn miles from everyday spending through Rove's shopping portal or browser extension.
In addition to redeeming miles through Rove's travel portal, members can transfer miles to various other airline and hotel loyalty programs.
With the addition of four new transfer partners, Rove has now expanded its total partners to 17:
- Aeromexico Rewards
- Accor Live Limitless
- Air France-KLM Flying Blue
- Air India Maharaja Club
- Cathay Pacific Cathay
- Etihad Guest
- Finnair Plus
- Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club
- Japan Airlines Mileage Bank
- Lufthansa Miles & More
- Qatar Airways Privilege Club
- SAS EuroBonus
- Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
- Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
- Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
- Virgin Red
Conclusion
While Rove Miles is designed for young travelers and those who do not use credit cards, the program can also attract other reward enthusiasts — especially with the new transfer partners. If you're looking to earn up to 28 points for every dollar spent on stays or to rack up extra points at hotels, consider joining Rove. Additionally, new members who sign up through TPG's link by April 10 can receive 1,500 bonus miles just for registering.
